| The program consists of two calendar years of training. There are 4 semesters during the normal academic year and two summer rotations. During the academic semesters the students take graduate level courses in anatomy, biochemistry, microanatomy, medical physiology, medical microbiology, and pathology. During the summer rotations the students participate in autopsy and surgical pathology learning dissection techniques, dictation of descriptions, writing pathology reports, and lab management skills.
